Born in the heart of Oakdale, CA, we’re a family owned and operated local business since 1931, now four generations strong. In 1908 Juliana Bordona left Spain to follow the lumber industry to America. Wanting to establish a new life for his family, he settled in California. Having started in Standard, CA at the logger camps, Juliano and his brothers saved to settle in Riverbank and opened Westside Grocery in Riverbank, in 1931. From there, they added appliances to accomodate the food they were selling, and so started the groundwork for Bordona’s Furniture, Appliances, and Mattress.
